Delivery Service Update December 2022
DPD are continuing to experience delays throughout their network following high volumes over Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We are acutely aware of the impact these delays are causing to our customers and are doing all we can to minimise disruption. We are in constant contact with DPD chasing parcels and resolving issues where we can, and are shipping replacement orders for those that are still stuck in hubs and trailers from a few days ago.
We have taken the decision to remove pre-12pm and pre-10.30am services temporarily until the situation improves. Despite assurances from DPD management we are currently not sure when normal service levels will resume.
We have a team of people working constantly with DPD and are doing everything we can to resolve any and all issues. We sincerely apologise for these delays caused by our courier and the impact on your business.
We offer alternative courier options and believe UPS to be in a far stronger position to deliver on time than DPD are at present. Parcel Force have also been performing strongly, however the recent announcement of a further round of strikes in the run-up to Christmas are likely to cause further disruption. The CWU has called on its members, including Royal Mail and Parcel Force workers, to strike on the 9th, 11th, 14th, 15h, 23rd and 24th of December. Collections from us and deliveries to our customers are likely to be impacted on and around these dates.
We can only apologise to any of our customers who have been impacted by these service issues. We're doing all we can to get your orders to you as quickly as possible but if there is anything else we can help with please let us know.
