Danfoss Burner Components Notice

Phase out of Oil Burner Control and Photosensors July 2022 

Summary The world wide market for Oil Burners Controls (OBC) and Photounitsensors (LD/LDS) has decreased significantly during the last decade. In addition, the availability of electronic components has been very difficult for the last two years and our supplier has increased their costs significantly. 

Because of this, we have come to the difficult decision to end/phase-out the OBC and LD/LDS business for Danfoss Burner Components. The last production of OBC and LD/LDS has be completed and the components available are subject to stock levels at point of order.

As above, we were notified earlier this year that Danfoss have taken the decision to discontinue production of their range of oil burner controls, including control boxes and photocells. We have been able to continue supply of these products since this notice, however we are now starting to see stocks exhausted with no opportunity for replenishment. We have limited stocks remaining of some of these products, however once these are sold we will be unable to source any further stock.

We fully understand the need for availability of essential replacement components in order to maintain and repair existing products and are currently working with our supplier and manufacturer partners in an attempt to source suitable replacement products.
